Currently, the individual file size limit for an image upload on our website is 100MB/file. If the file you have selected exceeds this file size, it has to be adjusted so that you can upload it to our design configurator.
Possible reasons for file sizes of over 100 MB may be:
- Unnecessarily high image resolution: we recommend a resolution of approx. 150 dpi. If the resolution is higher than 150 dpi, we recommend reducing the resolution, this should also automatically reduce the file size.
- TIFF file: A TIFF file contains considerably more image or file information than a JPEG, and therefore often automatically has a higher file size. A lot of that information contained in a TIFF file is not relevant for printing. So can simply convert your TIFF file into a JPEG file, that often leads to significant decreases in file size, without any negative effects in the quality of your image.
