Whether your shopping cart stays saved depends on your individual browser settings. For privacy reasons, we can't store an "open cart" on our end.
If you recently added items to your cart, try opening the same browser on the same device where you started the order. Your items might still be saved in your browser history. If the cart is empty when you reopen it, you'll need to add your items again.
